When a machine has many safety functions — several E-stops, guard doors, light curtains, muting and safe speed — wiring individual safety relays becomes complicated. PNOZmulti 2 replaces them with one configurable safety controller: the safety logic is created graphically in the PNOZmulti Configurator software, and inputs and outputs are added with expansion modules.
The PNOZ m B0 is the compact base unit; the PNOZ m B1 adds more I/O and connection options. Safe I/O modules such as the PNOZ m EF 16DI extend the inputs, the PNOZ m EF Multi Link connects several base units, and the PNOZ m ES ETH adds Ethernet diagnostics for the PLC and HMI.
PNOZmulti systems are engineered per machine. Our engineers can design, configure and validate a PNOZmulti safety system or replace a failed module with the same configuration.
