PNOZsigma is Pilz's compact safety relay family: narrow housings, plug-in terminals and the option to link a base unit with contact expansion modules through a connector, without extra wiring. It suits new machines and panels where space is short.
The PNOZ s4 is the workhorse for E-stop, gate and light-curtain monitoring with 3 safety contacts; the s3 is the compact 2-contact version. PNOZ s5 and s9 add delayed contacts for controlled stops of drives; PNOZ s6 monitors two-hand control stations on presses. PNOZ s7, s8, s10 and s11 expand the number of safety contacts. Versions for 48–240 V AC/DC supply are available.
