About the Schneider Electric TeSys GV2 Motor Circuit Breakers
The TeSys GV2ME is the familiar push-button motor circuit breaker found in countless Pakistani panels. It protects a motor against short circuit, overload and phase loss, and it isolates it with a clear start/stop push-button — replacing fuses and a separate overload relay in one device.
Each GV2ME covers a setting range; the code number rises with the current. GV2ME08 covers 2.5–4 A, GV2ME14 6–10 A, GV2ME22 20–25 A and GV2ME32 24–32 A. Choose the breaker whose range includes the motor's full-load current and set the dial to it. GVAE11 auxiliary contacts (1 NO + 1 NC) give the PLC a trip or on/off signal.
GV2 breakers combine with TeSys D contactors to build compact starters for remote control. We supply the full GV2ME range and its accessories — send the motor current or the reference of your old breaker and we match it.
