Thermal inkjet printers use disposable ink cartridges and print sharp, high-resolution codes with no ink system to maintain — ideal for barcodes, QR codes and GS1 DataMatrix codes that must scan reliably. DOCOD's codpad TIJ range mounts directly on the production line.
The T1 series has a single print head (half-inch or one-inch) for compact installations; the T2 series drives two heads for two lines or both sides of a product; the T4 and T6 series drive multiple heads for larger print areas; and the screenless TX series is set up from a PC or mobile app. Resolution reaches 600 × 600 DPI and print speeds up to 406 m/min, with dynamic serial numbers, counters and database printing for traceability.
Cartridges are available in black, colours, invisible UV and food-grade inks for porous and non-porous surfaces. We supply TIJ printers, cartridges and brackets, and set up variable-data and traceability printing for your line.
