WAGO 221 lever connectors are the transparent connectors with orange levers that electricians now use instead of screw terminal strips and tape. Lift the lever, insert the stripped conductor, close the lever — the connection is made, visible through the housing and reusable. The same connector takes solid, stranded and fine-stranded wires, so mixed conductors can be joined without ferrules.
The code shows the size: 221-41x connectors take conductors up to 4 mm², 221-61x up to 6 mm², and the last digit is the number of conductors (2, 3 or 5). 221-2411 inline connectors join two conductors end to end, and 221-500/510 mounting carriers hold 221 connectors on a DIN rail or screw them to a panel. For solid conductors only, the compact 2273 PUSH WIRE connectors take 2 to 8 wires up to 2.5 mm² and are simply pushed in.
We supply 221 and 2273 connectors in boxes for contractors and panel builders. Tell us the wire sizes and quantities and we quote.
